Open Hand is a goodwill outreach operated from Dubai. This page describes plainly what happens to your data when you visit openhand.ae or submit the contact form.
If you tap Allow on the small banner: we collect anonymous behavioural data — which slides you spend time on, where you click, your approximate location (city/country, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and a session replay (a screen-recording-style capture of your interactions, with form inputs masked).
If you tap No thanks: nothing fires. No analytics events, no cookies set by us, no session replay. Your visit is anonymous to us. The deck still works exactly the same.
If you fill in the contact form on slide 5, we receive the fields you submit: name, email, business name, area of interest, and message. We use these only to reply.
Contact-form submissions live in our inbox until you ask us to delete them. Behavioural analytics data follows the provider's default ~12-month retention. We don't export, sell, share, syndicate, or licence any of it. No retargeting. No newsletter mailing list.
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law 45/2021 (PDPL), the KSA Personal Data Protection Law, and the EU GDPR (if you're in the EU), you can ask us to: see what we hold on you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or move it elsewhere. Email hello@openhand.ae with the subject "data request" and we'll respond within 30 days.
Strictly necessary: Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie to load the page reliably. With your consent: our analytics layer stores a session identifier in your browser to stitch your visit together. With No thanks: nothing from us. Your consent choice is stored locally in your browser only.
Open Hand is operated by an independent IT practitioner based in Dubai. No staff, no investors, no upsell pipeline. Questions or concerns about how we handle your data: hello@openhand.ae.
